Argentina’s biodiesel industry decimated by potential EU duties

In Argentina, Carbio says that the biodiesel industry is running at 40% to 50% production capacity as a result of the anti-dumping investigation currently under way by the European Commission. The potential for duties has sent shockwaves through the industry and biodiesel exports have sunk, though they have been replaced by soy oil exports.
